JAMIE AND JULIE OVERHOLSER

Jamie and Julie have served in pastoral ministry for 30+ years. Jamie has experienced a variety of pastoral roles including music/worship, youth, interim, Christian education, church planter, co-pastor, and lead pastor. He's been honored to shepherd some of the most amazing people on the planet.
Jamie and Julie have 4 wonderful children and love a good beach vacation. They are avid Pittsburgh Steeler fans and often enjoy a summer ride on their Honda Rebel motorcycle. Jamie enjoys reading, writing, running, and Manning's (a local favorite) almond joy ice cream.
In 2011 Jamie completed his Master's degree in Spiritual Formation from Spring Arbor University. This opportunity gave him the joy of experiencing the fullness and beauty of the Body of Christ as he learned from and with a variety of Christ followers from all Christian denominations. He has a heart for seeing Christ formed in others (Galatians 4:19) and to stand back and watch God give the increase.
Jamie has experienced first-hand the joys and sorrows, and ups and downs of leading a church. He and Julie have been deeply loved and significantly wounded along the way. But God's love has never failed, and His faithfulness is everlasting.
The Lord has given Jamie and Julie a desire and passion to walk alongside other pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders, and their spouses as they experience the challenges of ministry that can affect their personal lives and marriages. In Jamie's own words, "I wish I would have had a Standing Stone shepherd at certain points along the way."
Julie has a strong heart for mentoring, since she was
mentored growing up without even knowing it. As she says, "I was mentored on a
piano bench." Now, 30 years later, she
teaches 30 piano lessons per week with the same desire: to mentor her students'
hearts toward Christ through the avenue of music.
In 2017, Julie completed her studies in Christian Spiritual Formation. She has a strong desire to continue walking deeply with Christ as He is formed in her, and as He uses her to mentor and walk alongside others. She is an avid reader, loves Bible Study and getting together with ladies to share and talk.
Julie enjoys photography, interior design, wood working, flipping furniture, and just about anything that gets her creative juices flowing.
